Notes

After more medical advice from internet strangers (do not do this diet the way I am), I've decided to stick with the metformin for now. At 500mg it doesn't cause me any problems anyway.

This means there's unlikely to be any big change to sugars for a while. I had originally intended to keep detailed records every day - but at this point:

  • My arms are a mess from the lancets
  • The logging is adding effort to the diet and making me think about it more

It's more important that I succeed on the diet, than that I keep a detailed log. So I'm going to switch to weekly checkins on Mondays.
