Notes
My fasting numbers have been in the 5s or low 6s for a few days now, so I'm considering stopping the metformin again and seeing how I get on. However, the post-prandial numbers still aren't great, especially considering how low carb my meals are.
Obviously I need to keep testing to see how I do without metformin (if I stop it), but after I've given that a few days, I might take a break. The monitoring was very motivating to start with, but now it's almost becoming an added burden on the diet. And while I'd love to have a complete record, the priority is the success of the diet. Plus, my arms are starting to look a real mess (fingerprick tests leave marks easily for me). I'll aim to test through this week, and then maybe take a week off of testing (and weighing).
